A Farmingville man was sentenced today to time served in the death of an off-duty Suffolk corrections officer in 2008.

Anthony Oddone was sentenced to 5 years, 4 months and 16 days, which amounts to the time he has already served.

Officials say Oddone put 40-year-old Andrew Reister, who was working as a bouncer, in a deadly chokehold at the Southampton Publik House.
