Another Suffolk drug store is robbed of prescription drugs

One week after the deadly Medford pharmacy massacre another Suffolk drug store was robbed of prescription pills. According to the police, at around 12:15 p.m.

FARMINGVILLE - One week after the deadly Medford pharmacy massacre another Suffolk drug store was robbed of prescription pills.

According to the police, at around 12:15 p.m. Sunday, a man entered a CVS pharmacy in Farmingville, approached the pharmacy service counter and asked if a specific prescription was available.

The man then left the store, and returning a short time later, he handed a pharmacy employee a note containing a threat demanding prescription drugs and cash.

Investigators say the man left the scene on foot, and describe him as a white male with a thin build, 5 feet 8 inches tall, in his twenties.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
