KINGS POINT - A Brooklyn man is under arrest for allegedly stealing some pricey ice buckets from his employer.

Police say Anatoliy Maryuk, of Brooklyn, stole four antique silver-gilded ice buckets from his employer's Kings Point home in 2011. The buckets are valued at $50,000 apiece.

The owner of the antique pieces didn't realize they were stolen until Maryuk allegedly tried to sell them to the Sotheby's auction house in New York City.

Two buckets were later sold on eBay to a man in Maryland. The FBI began investigating after Sotheby's notified the rightful owner.

Maryuk was arrested yesterday. Authorities say all four buckets have now been recovered.
