Americans expected to spend nearly $19B on Valentine's gifts

WOODBURY - Americans are spending big this Valentine's Day.

According to the National Retail Federation, men spend an average of $108 for their significant others, while women only spend around $53.

In all, people will shell out nearly $19 billion on candy, cards and other gifts.
