Joseph Mathews, East Patchogue man accused of harassing News 12 employees, pleads not guilty

EAST PATCHOGUE - The East Patchogue man accused of harassing News 12 employees has pleaded not guilty.

Joseph Mathews, 41, was arraigned on stalking charges Friday.

Police say Mathews allegedly made disturbing phone calls to News 12's newsroom for more than a year.

Mathews was arrested back in 2011 for allegedly stalking and harassing a Miller Place woman and her family for years.
