KINGS PARK - Officials say mental health experts are evaluating the Kings Park man accused of killing his grandmother in a fight over a television show.

Investigators say Clarence Newcomb has admitted to choking his 82-year-old grandmother in the home they shared Friday.

Police say the 25-year-old has a psychiatric history but friends insist he's never been violent.

However, a neighbor says Newcomb was taking a new medication for headaches that had serious side effects.
