ISLAND PARK - Police say a drunken driver's car burst into flames after she attempted to flee a crash scene in Island Park.

The incident happened at around 6 a.m. on the Long Beach Bridge.

Long Beach police tell News 12 the woman crashed into a tree then took off. However, pieces of her vehicle fell off, including the bumper and license plate, and she left a trail of anti-freeze behind her.

Cops say they followed the trail and found her just as her vehicle burst into flames on the bridge.
