The FBI has launched an investigation after a pilot reported seeing a small drone aircraft while making a final approach to John F. Kennedy International Airport. The pilot of Alitalia Flight 608 says he spotted an unmanned or remote-controlled aircraft hovering at an altitude of about 1,500 feet.
