Prosecutors say Alfred Balcerak, of Freeport, molested a male employee last year at his upholstery warehouse in Syosset.

SYOSSET - A registered sex offender who admitted to trying to sexually abuse a young man has been sentenced to 1 1/2 years in prison.

Alfred Balcerak, of Freeport, was also sentenced to three years post-release supervision.

Prosecutors say the 55-year-old fondled one of his male employees in Syosset in May 2013.

Balcerak was previously convicted of sexually abusing two teenage boys in 2008, as well a girl and a boy in 1998.
