COMMACK - A Central Islip man has been arrested, accused of trying to set multiple cars on fire in Commack.

Detectives say Alexander Rivera was captured on surveillance video talking to a bouncer at The Scene Restaurant and Lounge back in March.

A short time later, investigators say the 35-year-old poured gasoline on three vehicles, but was chased away before he could light them.

Rivera now faces attempted arson charges.
