WESTBURY - This summer, children in Westbury are perfecting their talents and learning new ones at a local community center.

There are activities for children five days a week at the Yes We Can Community Center in Westbury. More than 70 kids between the ages of 6 and 18 attend each day.

Children at the center can participate in many activities, including different sports or learning how to dance. Adam Rooksgrant, 10, spent his time today rehearsing for the center’s talent show. His group is called the YTBs, aka, Young Talented Boys.

The activities program will be open through the end of August.
