SAYVILLE - A dog that was found abandoned and emaciated in Suffolk now has a new home.

Authorities say Queenie, an Italian mastiff, was left alone for weeks in a Coram apartment without food or water.

Queenie has been adopted by Tuncay Adem, one of the men who rescued her.

She has gained 30 pounds in a little more than a week.
