GLEN HEAD - A Glen Head gym teacher was released without bail today after he was arrested Friday for allegedly watching pornography on his computer during school hours.

Authorities say four students observed Aaron Kozlowski watching pornography and fondling himself in his office at North Shore Middle School.

Investigators say the alleged incident happened in February, but wasn't reported until recently.

The 31-year-old teacher from Long Beach is charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child. A judge released him to probation without bail following his arraignment today.

Kozlowski has been a teacher for nine years and is also the boys' varsity lacrosse coach.

His attorney tells News 12 Long Island that the allegations are completely untrue. "It's a simple story of a student who was mad at his teacher and made up a story, and some of his friends went along with it," the lawyer says.

Parents who spoke with News 12 Long Island had mixed opinions on the allegations. Some said they think they're untrue, while others said they had no idea about the arrest and were disappointed that the district has not yet contacted them about the incident.

The North Shore School District wouldn't comment about the arrest. Kozlowski's attorney says the gym teacher has been suspended with pay, and is not allowed back in school pending the outcome of the case.
