911 call about gunshots leads to home invasion probe in Riverhead
The incident happened last night in Riverhead. (February 27, 2013)
RIVERHEAD - Police are searching for the men behind a home invasion in Riverhead.
Cops say they received a call from frightened residents that someone was shooting at their home.
The incident happened on East Avenue around 11:30 p.m. yesterday.
The residents say one man broke into the house while a teen, two younger kids and two adults were inside.
Cops say the two masked men took off before they got there.
