COMMACK - A total of nine Long Island school districts are being nationally recognized for increasing the number of kids in advanced placement courses.

The nine districts include Commack, Copiague, Eastport-South Manor, Harborfields and Herricks.

Levittown, Riverhead, Sayville and Syosset were also on the list.

The 'AP District Honor Roll' was given to 367 districts in the United States and Canada.
