TOBAY BEACH - Hundreds of Oyster Bay residents gathered in Tobay Beach tonight for a peaceful, yet emotional ceremony in honor of those who lost their lives on Sept. 11.

The candlelight service was held in front of the town's memorial, which was dedicated to 9/11 victims in 2005.

Residents say that it's important to come together each year and remember those who died in the attacks, while teaching younger generations about what happened.
