9/11 first responders to begin getting payouts

WOODBURY - First responders sickened at ground zero will soon be getting payouts.

Officials say lawyers for both the workers and New York City have signed papers finalizing the $650 million settlement.

Checks should start arriving for the first responders within the next few weeks.
