ALBANY - ? Seven workers picked up their share of the largest winning Mega Millions ticket ever sold in New York. All of the winners are employees of the state?s Division of Housing and Community Renewal.
The workers say they have been pooling their money for three or four years but never won before. Today, each worker received their share of the $319 million jackpot, which comes out to $29 million each before taxes. The workers purchased the ticket at a store right next to their office.
