MATTITUCK - ? Four people had to be pulled from their sinking ship on the North Fork this weekend. The incident happened as the crew went on a fishing trip in the Great Peconic Bay. Police tell News 12 Long Island a Brooklyn man and his three passengers left Mattituck on Saturday.

The boat called for help when it started taking on water after they anchored. The Southampton Bay Constable got to the boat in time to get the four people off the ship and bring them back to land.

No one was hurt during the incident.
