4 people arrested after date robbery set-up in North Amityville

Police say Virginia Miller allegedly texted five men who came out of the house and robbed her date. (2/12/13)

NORTH AMITYVILLE - Police say four people have been arrested after a birthday dinner turned ugly in Lindenhurst.

According to police, a man took Virginia Miller to dinner in a fast food restaurant to celebrate her 26th birthday.

Cops say he gave Miller a box of chocolates and then they went back to a home on Nathalie Avenue in North Amityville.

Miller allegedly texted five men who came out of the house, beat her date and stole his wallet, iPhone, tablet and chocolates. 

Miller, Jamar Christian, Michael Owens and Rodney Fisher are accused in the robbery. Police say they are searching for two other suspects.
