WOODBURY - New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has launched complaints against four Long Island gas stations who are accused of illegally raising their prices following Hurricane Sandy.

According to the attorney general, the four stations were charging around $5 a gallon for gas.

The attorney general is going after 13 gas stations on Long Island, New York City and Westchester County.

The following Long Island stations received notices:- Shell, 408 Rockaway Turnpilke, Cedarhurst- Babylon Gas Station/Express Mart, 1000 Route 109, Lindenhurst- USA Petroleum, East Islip- USA Petroleum, 2664 Route 112, Medford
