PORT WASHINGTON - Three sisters and former employees of a Port Washington restaurant have filed a lawsuit claiming they were sexually harassed by the chef.

According Gabrielle D'Annunzio, she and her sisters were harassed while working at Ayhan's Fish Kebab and that management did nothing to stop it. The youngest sister says she was eventually sexually assaulted by former chef Juan Orellano three years ago.

The Nassau District Attorney's Office confirmed that Orellano, 29, pleaded guilty to sexual assault in 2008. According to documents obtained by News 12 Long Island, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission found that the restaurant failed to protect the female employees.

News 12 Long Island has also learned that Orellano was an undocumented worker and had been deported. It's unclear whether the restaurant management performed a background check before hiring him.
