NEW CASSEL - Officials say three police officers were injured after responding to a domestic dispute call in New Cassel.

The officers responded to a home on Irving Street last night. That is when they say Crystal Sinclair began screaming and cursing. When officers tried to arrest her, they say Orlando Mosley, 28, punched one of the officers.

As officers tried to arrest Mosley, Dionne Davis allegedly jumped on an officer’s back.

Sinclair was arraigned this afternoon and faces several charges, including resisting arrest. She was released on her own recognizance. Mosley also faces several charges, including felony assault, and is being held on a $10,000 cash bond. Davis is expected to be arraigned later this afternoon.

Family members tell News 12 that police escalated the incident and claim they were physically abusive to the defendants. The family says they have video and witnesses, and that they are taking it to a lawyer.
