AMITYVILLE - Police say three men are under arrest and accused of scamming an elderly woman in Suffolk County.

Cops have identified the suspects as John and Nicholas Mitchell, of West Babylon and Allen Mitchell, of Bay Shore.

Police say the trio approached the 79-year-old woman at her Amityville home yesterday and offered to seal her driveway for a discount if she paid cash. The men then followed the woman to the bank where she withdrew $1,200. Police say the men took the money and took off. All three men were arrested a short time later.

Anyone else who thinks they may have been scammed is asked to call police.
