WOODBURY - Three Long Islanders are waking up this morning $250,000 richer after winning in the latest Mega Millions jackpot.
Joanne Bootle of Bellrose Village has already come forward to claim her second place winning in Tuesday night's drawing.
There were nine second place tickets sold and three of them were sold on Long Island.
The second place winners missed the big $244 million by just the mega ball.
Officials say because there was no grand prize winner, tomorrow night's Mega Millions jackpot has swelled to $304 million.
