ROOSEVELT - Police are investigating a crash on the Southern State Parkway that left three men dead.

The state police say that at around 5:15 a.m., a car carrying three men traveling eastbound crashed into the bridge at exit 21 (Nassau Road) and caught fire.

A state trooper responding to the scene and a Good Samaritan were able to pull one of the victims out of the car but he later died at the hospital. The two other men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators have identified the victims as Brendon Mcrae, 24, of Roosevelt, Stanley Sagesse, 23, of Hempstead and Naquan Bell, 21, of Floral Park.
