UNIONDALE - The funeral for three family members killed in Sunday's crash on the Long Island Expressway was held Friday.

A wake was held for Carmelo Pinales, 26, his sister Patricia, 27, and his 10-year-old son Cristopher in Uniondale yesterday.

Police say Pinales lost control of his car in the eastbound lanes of the LIE near exit 68, flipped over the guardrail and hit two cars heading westbound.

Patricia's 3-year-old daughter is recovering from her injuries.
