STONY BROOK - Three people have been arrested in connection to the recent robberies on the Stony Brook University campus.

In the first incident, a student was robbed of his phone and money after being threatened by two or three males. In the second robbery, two males displayed an Airsoft pistol and demanded money from three students.

University police say two individuals not connected to the college have been arrested and charged with robbery in the second degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree.

A third person was also arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree.

Two of the suspects live in East Setauket. The third is from Setauket. All are 16 years old.
