LIDO BEACH - More than 2,000 bikers took part in Twister Sister frontman Dee Snider's 11th annual Ride to Fight Hunger in Lido Beach.
Snider says he expects to raise more than $100,000 for Long Island Cares.
"When I found out that more than 10 percent of Long Islanders need help putting food on the table, that like blew all of our minds," Snider says, "In our own backyard, there's people hungry?"
This is the first time that Snider has raised money for Long Island Cares. He has previously raised millions for March of Dimes on his Bikers for Babies ride.
