Organizers say more than 15,000 people attended the 24th annual Long Island Gay Pride Parade and Pride Fest today.

The parade was held on Main Street in Huntington. Afterward, thousands gathered at Heckscher Park to celebrate their pride and community.

The event was organized by the Long Island GLBT Network. CEO David Kilmnick says he's blown away by the big turnout this year.
