GREAT NECK - The Great Neck Dog and Cat Hospital is taking applications for families to adopt 22 puppies. 

As News 12 has reported, the dogs were brought to the hospital after a local pet store closed. 

Officials at the animal hospital say they received 120 applications over the weekend. They are confident the dogs will have new homes by the end of this week.
