CORAM - Police are searching for the person who shot and killed a 21-year-old in Coram last night. Police responded to a 911 call just after 11 p.m. last night at the home on Judith Drive.

Police say the victim, Luis Vargas, of Selden, was shot in the chest and died at Stony Brook University Medical Center.

News 12 Long Island spoke to homeowner Maria Bena who says Vargas was visiting her son Gabrielle. Bena say Vargas was at their home when two men drove up in a white car and followed them to the backyard. Police are not revealing any possible motive for the shooting.
