WOODBURY - It has been 20 years since a young girl was rescued from an underground dungeon on Long Island, and now she is all grown up with children of her own.

Katie Beers was 9 years old back in 1993 when she made national headlines. Beers was kidnapped and held captive for more than two weeks in an underground compartment in Bay Shore. Family friend John Esposito eventually turned himself in and lead police to the girl.

Beers is now a mother with two children of her own. Her ordeal is being told in a new book due out this week.
