2 teens arrested, accused of using machete in Roosevelt robbery

According to police, the victim was walking on Carroll Street in Roosevelt on May 9 when he was approached.

Police have arrested two teens for using a machete during a robbery.

According to police, the victim was walking on Carroll Street in Roosevelt on May 9 when he was approached. 

Police say Patrick Hood, 17, and another 15-year-old male subject approached the victim. The 15-year-old then held a machete to the victims face, while Hood reached into his pocket and removed an iPhone, police say.

Hood and the juvenile suspect fled the scene. Hood was located and arrested last night.

The juvenile defendant is being charged with robbery in the first degree and was arraigned at an earlier date.
