WOODBURY - Two more Suffolk police officers are ready to retire from the force.

Detectives Michael Malone and James Hickey will retire Saturday.

Malone was involved in the arrest of Christopher Loeb, while Hickey headed the squad involved, according to Newsday.

Former Chief of Department James Burke was arrested this past month. He is accused of beating Loeb.

Malone and Hickey are the latest retirements since the arrest of their former chief.

Four members of Suffolk's criminal intelligence unit have now resigned.
