2 plead guilty in heroin distribution ring

Prosecutors say kingpin Brian Bacon will be sentenced to 12 years in prison. Another man involved, Jerome Turnbough, will serve six years in prison.

WOODBURY - Police say two people involved in a heroin distribution ring on Long Island have pleaded guilty.

In March, the duo were among 13 people arrested in connection to the pipeline moving drugs from Manhattan to Nassau County plus upstate and in Pennsylvania.

Prosecutors say kingpin Brian Bacon will be sentenced to 12 years in prison. Another man involved, Jerome Turnbough, will serve six years in prison.
