WESTBURY - ? A newborn baby is alive today because of two Nassau County cops and an ambulance worker. Officials say the mom gave birth to her little boy at a home on Roman Avenue in Westbury yesterday, but he was not breathing. The two Nassau officers quickly began CPR. When the ambulance technician arrived, they cut the baby?s umbilical cord and tried to revive the newborn.

The baby began to cry on the way to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.
