OYSTER BAY - Officials say two additional Long Islanders have admitted that they faked their disabilities when retiring from the Long Island Rail Road.

A half dozen LIRR retirees have now been convicted in the ongoing pension scam.

Yesterday, Michael Stavola, 55, of Massapequa Park, and Christopher Parlante, 60, of Oyster Bay, pleaded guilty in federal court.

Both Stavola and Parlante face decades in prison, according to Newsday.

Dozens of other retirees have already admitted their role in the scam as part of an amnesty program that is now over.
