JERICHO - Students at Jericho High School and Middle School were under maximum security today due to bomb threats that were made over the weekend. Officials say the threats were made through a text message and email. Police searched the building and student backpacks this morning, but found nothing suspicious. Police say they believe they know who made the threat, although they have not commented on the suspect's identity. Sources say the suspect is not a student at Jericho High School. According to police, the number of threat incidents typically increases around this time of year. They say suspects who make these types of threats can face felony charges.
