ALBANY - Two Long Islanders were rescued after getting stranded overnight on a mountain in upstate New York's Catskills region.

Michael Leleszi and Erin McKinstry, both of Huntington, were rescued yesterday from Slide Mountain when they were found by a state trooper and two forest rangers.

Both were taken to the hospital, where they were treated after suffering exposure to the cold weather. They have since been released.
