2 DOT workers suspended over snow removal

WOODBURY - The state has suspended two transportation department officials over the slow snow removal in parts of Suffolk County.
The department's regional director for Suffolk County and a transportation maintenance engineer have both been suspended for 30 days without pay.
An attorney for the director says his client is being made a scapegoat.
Hundreds of drivers were stranded in cars for hours due to the slow response.
