ISLAND PARK - More than a dozen bartenders, managers and an owner were arrested in connection with an undercover operation that targeted underage drinking at an Island Park venue.
Nassau County police say 16 people connected with Warehouse 5 on Waterfront Boulevard were arrested after underage people were able to purchase alcohol from bartenders early Wednesday morning.
Police say owner John Vitale, 61, is among the 16 people who were arrested. He was charged with the improper posting of a license, prohibited sale of alcoholic beverages, unlawful dealings with a child, failure to maintain books and more.
