STONY BROOK - Stony Brook Hospital has reached an exciting new milestone!

Doctors say the hospital has now delivered 100,000 babies. 

The facility has been celebrating the countdown to the milestone baby for the past few weeks. 

The first baby was born at the hospital in 1980.

There is no word on whether the 100,000th baby is a boy or a girl.
