ALASKA - Officials say 10 people were killed in a plane crash in Alaska yesterday.
A chartered air taxi went down at Alaska's Soldotna Municipal Airport. It burst into flames, and all nine passengers were killed, along with the pilot.
National Transportation Safety Board officials say that initial reports indicate that the plane went down shortly after departure, but that has not yet been confirmed by investigators.
Alaskans frequently fly around the state because of its limited road system.
