1 injured in South Huntington crash

SOUTH HUNTINGTON - Police say one person was injured in a car accident in South Huntington.

The incident happened on New York Avenue just north of Schwab Road at around 2:30 a.m.

News 12 has learned one car was involved and struck a pole. The impact brought wires down in the area.

The male driver was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

Part of New York Avenue was closed for hours.
