Stephanie Rose

Stephanie Rose joined the News 12 Long Island family in March 2013 after working behind the scenes at WEtv and Fox News Channel. Although her position at News 12 also began off camera, she eventually expanded her role on-air to become a traffic & features reporter for the network. Stephanie is now the regular fill-in for traffic and entertainment on the News 12 Long Island morning show.

As a proud life-long Long Islander, Stephanie’s first gig on a morning show was the morning announcements at J.F.K High School in Bellmore. She then went on to major in Radio/TV/Film and minor in Theatre at Marist College, where she graduated Cum Laude and eventually earned an induction into the Marist Theatre Hall of Fame. Throughout her career in TV, Stephanie has worked in a variety of roles including promotional planning, production management and operations administration. She has also written and published articles for Fox News Magazine; the official lifestyle magazine of Fox News.

When she is not on-air or behind the scenes in the newsroom, you can find Stephanie practicing or teaching yoga and meditation; a passion that has taken her off the island and all the way to India to study.
