Stacey Bell

Stacey joined News 12 in January 2012. She co-anchors the evening newscast with Stone Grissom. She brings a wealth of journalistic experience and compassionate story telling to News 12. Her career in broadcasting started many years ago working 7 days a week, doing radio news and covering a range of stories in Texas. She spent several years in Shreveport, Louisiana where she worked as morning show anchor and reporter for KSLA News 12 the CBS affiliate. For the past 13 years, Stacey worked for WJW FOX 8 News in Cleveland, OH. After 2 years of 4am wake up calls and standing out in frigid temperatures to report for city's #1 morning show, she took over co-anchor duties of the 5 and 10pm news. Within a year, Stacey and her co-anchor took the 5pm newscast to the #1 spot for the first time in the station's history.

It was an honor for Stacey to be awarded the Personality of the Year award. In addition, her worked as been recognized with several Emmy nominations. She's the proud winner of two Emmy awards. However, the biggest reward is viewers who feel like they know her personally!

Over the years Stacey worked with the Malone Scholarship Fund to help raise thousands of dollars to help send deserving students to college. She's also served as a resource and mentor to countless young girls looking for a career in broadcasting.

Stacey relocated to the Long Island area to be with her husband, Anthony. She has a step daughter Danielle and a stepson D'Anton. When she's not covering news with Stone, she's probably spending time with the world's best dog Scooter. She's most excited about exploring Long Islands beaches and restaurants!
