Ken Grimball

An Emmy Award winner and holder of Long Island Press Club and Folio Awards for Broadcast Excellence, Ken Grimball, is a feature-reporter on News 12 Long Island.

Prior to joining News 12 Long Island, Ken has also been a General Assignment Reporter for WCBS-Newsradio 88, where he provided live reports on breaking news stories throughout the metropolitan area. His professional efforts also include his work as producer/reporter for the United Methodist Communications Television Network as well as Newscenter 7 in Ithaca, where he was Co-Anchor/Weatherman and assignment editor. He also hosted television talk for PBS in Binghamton and Syracuse.

Prior to his career in broadcasting, Ken Grimball was a singer and dancer at Radio City Music Hall and was in the chorus of the famed Metropolitan Opera for nearly seven years. He also performed in Off-Broadway productions and several small opera companies. In addition, Ken spent over a decade as an administrator for the New York City Department of Social Services.
