A News 12/Hofstra poll showed more opponents to Nassau County's school speed zone cameras than supporters.
The poll found that 47.9 percent supported removing all of the speed cams. In comparison, 16.4 percent of people supported putting more speed cameras in places.
Another 30.2 percent of people polled supported the number of speed cameras already in place.
Only 5.5 percent of people polled were undecided on the issue.
The county plans to have a speed camera active in every school district in Nassau. It's planning to get tens of millions of dollars annually from the program by catching drivers on camera speeding through school zones.
