New Maritime hoops coach adds muscle to roster
New SUNY Maritime College head basketball coach Jody King is looking to become king of the court by improving his roster.
King is the third coach to lead the program in less than a year. He was hired this month. King has several years of experience as an assistant coach on the college and high school levels.
The coach has recruited point guard Rahshawn Pringle, of Fordham, from Nassau Community College. King is also bringing in guard Jamal Webb from Wagner College.
The Privateers were 4-21 last year.
